no more passion?

funny, i tend to always do this right before my final paper =_= not a good sign ...
anyway, kinda cant get this off my head...
was asking how was my fren doing with her boy...she just replied, no more passion...
n it got me thinking...does it always have to be like this?

BEFORE
g: u sure u wanna come over? u dunno anyone here n u dunno the way...
b: no worries ill find my way...the most important thing is i know you n i wanna be with u...
g: awwww...

AFTER
g: come lar, its not tht u never seen them before...
b: no lar, no topic with them also...
g: ....u can talk to me...
b: i can talk to u at home also...

BEFORE
g: u sure u wanna watch this? its a chick flick!!
b: nvm lar, the most important thing is u like it...

AFTER
g: lets watch 27 dresses!! got pretty gal wor...
b: dont want laaaaaaaaaaaaar....
g: .............but i really wanna watch it...
b: .....dont want laaaaar...

BEFORE
g: awwww!! thts so sweet!! u shudnt have!!
b: *smile* i like it when u smile...
g: but y?...
b: because i love u...

AFTER
g: ei? how come geh?
b: because if i dont do it u will show me ur black face...
g: .........

BEFORE
boy wakes up slightly early to style the hair, shave up, put on the best clothes before going out with gal...

AFTER
gal waking boy up, he wakes up, wash up, and go straight out...*notice no shaving, no hair styling, no best clothes...*

if any relationship is going to lose its passion eventually...and everything we do is just for the sake of doing...
then what the heck are we to maintain a long term relationship?
i would rather it be short and full of passion...
sigh...

Relationships are indeed a commitment. Too often enough, we fall into a sense of routine and comfort once the relationship shifts from fresh, to familiar.

Why does it have to be this way?
Well, look at it as the love has shifted onto a different level. The level whereby mayb the sweetness is less. But the understanding of each other is more.

Like when u go to a restaurant, u already know what drinks to order for him coz u've been around him long enough to know. And he, will know what to say to make u happy on certain occasions coz he knows u too well...etc.

A constant professing of love for each other is great. But I think a couple being together and holding hands silently to cross the road even at 70yrs of age shows so much more.

Love manifests in many different ways. Not just in the phase of sweet-nothings and pledging of undying love.

The problem is not that the love is gone. It is when people start to neglect the signs of it still being there and begin taking each other for granted.

Of course there are a hundred other examples to refute or support what u or I say.

For love...like every other personal experience ... is subjective to your own personal realities and circumstances.
